About Us
Poder NC Action is a values-led statewide nonprofit organization that builds people power in the growing Latinx community in North Carolina. We invest in leadership development, educate the public about issues, elections, policies, and work to build an audacious base of leaders to secure long-term movement wins.
We have a 501c4 designation and are a 501c3 fiscally sponsored project of Southern Vision Alliance.
Mission
To increase electoral participation of Latinx folks by building community around shared values, making folks feel seen and growing to their sense of self-efficacy in order to disrupt historic and/or inherited mistrust of government.
Vision
To create a world where people’s needs are met and where we see ourselves reflected in political leadership.
